The Tragedy
Perhaps the Club’s greatest blow occurred in December 1999 with the disappearance, and presumed death, of founder and guiding light “Jacq” Frost in the Bavarian Alps. However, the sense of purpose and hearty fellowship that have been the hallmark of the group since its inception sustained the Club and led it to survive this and other adversities throughout the years.
